Myriam is an ITEC qualified Massage practitioner, having first studied massage over fifteen years ago in Brighton. She has continued to pursue her diverse interests within the complementary health care field, among them Herbal Medicine, natural skin care, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Seiki-soho.

She has completed three years of training with the British School of Shiatsu-Do (Foundation year) and Kikai Shiatsu College, as well as a post-graduate year of Movement Shiatsu with Bill Palmer. She is now furthering her studies in the field of fertility and Pregnancy Shiatsu.

Her personal maintenance programme includes regular Aikido, yoga and Qigong practice, meditation, cycling and traditional boxing. Myriam is a newly enthused urban/ community gardener.

In addition to her private practice, Myriam also works on a voluntary basis at the Royal Free Hospital as a member of the Massage Therapy team.

Myriam’s work is very much informed by her Shiatsu and energetics training, and she is therefore particularly adept at adjusting her approach according to the needs of the client, from the most robust to the just plain exhausted.

Her clients include therapists and counsellors, administrators and artists; people from all walks of life, from those who are basically healthy but stressed/ suffering from back ache/ muscle tension/ tension headaches, to those suffering from more serious medical/ psycho-emotional conditions, such as ME, trauma (PTSD) or depression.
