Stress is a problem which concerns us all. However creative we might be, stress prevents us from using our full potential, causes physical fatigue, a dull mind, inhibiting the clear thinking necessary for decision making, leading to deterioration in personal relationships and, when severe, can lead to heart disease and other functional disorders.

The natural way to recover from stress is by taking a rest. However, a normal nights sleep and a holiday may not be sufficient to deal with today's increased pressure load. Stress management is a practical approach to help clients understand how harmful stress can be and to manage their stress reactions better.

If you are going through a period of undue pressure at the moment, or will be, stress management can teach you coping skill which can help reduce that pressure.
